I'm a centralized standards engineer, FaceTime and music/genre and accessibility designer from California which means that I design for the nature of human error, preference selection, observation and the nature and medium of care (See Design for Care: Innovating Healthcare Experience, Designing Design by Kenya Hara, Phenomenology of Perception by Merleau-Ponty). My career as a designer started at Sony, Loral Space Systems and 3Com, soon to be entrusted with helping to build Apple's application design team from the ground up not long after Steve Jobs' return to Apple in '97. My career soon evolved into the world of wearable and fashion technology as head of design to one of San Francisco's hottest fashion technology incubators and Principal Designer to Bloomingdales | Macy's. I am a jazz and design econometrics jazz-standards capitalism aficionado, modal jazz enthusiast, advocate and voice of reason for sustainable design in manufacturing; design advisor to Silicon Valley's hottest portfolio and venture firms.

When I am between design projects, photography is one way that I inform my design process to regroup my understanding and reawaken my creative imagination back to the human ideal. Surrounding myself with people when they are doing what they consider to be living their best life, reaching their unique potential serves as a natural reminder to me why I chose to become a creative designer solving design problems for the human condition using design standards research, framework engineering, avionics, human factors engineering and ergonomics design research through signal and safety analysis.
